Over the past 24 years, Bruce has gained experience working with youth and their families through various venues and occupations, including teaching social studies at private alternative, public and psychiatric facility schools, as well as through ministry. His previous ministry and teaching experience has geographically extended from Riverside/Moreno Valley to San Diego to Nashville to northern Indiana and now, to Southern California again.

In June of 1985, Bruce graduated with a BA in history and a teaching credential from the University of California, Riverside. Bruce is ordained with the Evangelical Free Church of America. Bruce and his favorite ministry partner, Carol, have been married for 27 years and have 3 adult children: Kindal, Matt and Libby. Their daughter, Kindal, is married to Josh Loy. Bruce experiences great joy each time he sees another teenager captivated with Jesus and the desire to share this relationship with his or her friends ... and when Bruce assists another parent in successfully passing the baton of their spiritual commitment down to their teens.
